Finished off tree number two today! Today was a beautiful day here, so as soon as I could get home from work I ran to the back yard with my hoop and floss and sat in a sunbeam. The cat came out too and had a good time chasing bugs (which were also enjoying the sun). What a fantastic evening. I am about half way through the sampler quilt sashing. This is my first time using sashing (and my first quilt without a pattern or instructions), so it is a little slow but completely satisfying :) I arranged the blocks last night and am happy with my layout. With any luck tonight I will start sewing strips of 5 blocks together! I'll get a photo up tomorrow.
