Sew Bee Blissful: Block 1

My first Sew Be Blissful block has arrived!  Wait.  Let me re-phrase. The goodies to make my first Sew Bee Blissful block has arrived.

This month we are making blocks for a our host, Jenna of Sew Happy Geek.  This is my first quilting bee, so I am overly excited to get started.  Jenna is looking for a block similar to the one below using the Lovely Little Handmade tutorial.  I will try my best, Miss Jenna!

Jenna sent several beautiful fabrics to work with.  I need to really spend some time looking at the tutorial and sorting through the fabrics to be sure I create contrast, thereby letting the pinwheel design shine through.  I will post a photo when it's done.

She sent along a fun little post card from Liverpool, the home of the Beatles.  How fun!  I'll have to think of something fun to return to her.
