Finished my two Sew Bee Blissful blocks for November. I just loved making these. We were to use a Wonky Star pattern, but create anything we wanted. Some folks went super scrappy, others with creative center piecing that's a little abstract. I went for fussy cutting and a classic pinwheel. I hope Ella likes them!
I had several arguments with that pinwheel center. There are a few points that are out of control, but it's the best I could do and we're all going to just have to be happy with that...
(Royal) We are happy with that!
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
Beautiful wonkies Cindy - spech love the first one - orange is my new favorite color!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about?! the block with the pinwheel centre looks perfect!!
ReplyDeleteBoth look fabulous to me!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how many designs we can create using a simple square and triangle in combination? Then add different fabrics and voila! a whole new look! It never ceases to amaze me!
ReplyDeleteOh these are great! Love those fabrics too.
ReplyDeleteLove both these blocks! We had either wonky stars or wonky log cabins this month, and I really wanted to try the stars, but there was a pre-requisite thing we had to do if we got a certain sort of print, and it wouldn't work with the stars :o( I have a siggy block to do though, so I might try a mini star for that...
ReplyDeleteThey look great xxx
ReplyDeleteLOL! Love your attitude towards those points - show 'em whose in charge! Blocks are beautiful btw! Jxo
ReplyDeleteLove your wonky stars!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! The stars really show off the colours and fabric choices :)
ReplyDeleteThe blocks look wonderful, and I am with Annabella, the orange one is my favourite.
