It's the day we've all been waiting for! Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I'm so excited I just don't know where to start.
Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
Right. Onto the giveaway. Would you like a big, lovely stack of fabric to make something spectacular? Well, how about yummy ECHINO prints? I am in love with them. There are 13 (yes, lucky 13) total with 8 at 9x10 inches and 5 at 9x19 inches. Enough for a cute bag, several pouches or even a mini-quilt.Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
But wait! You're going to need solids too! I have a stack of 5 KONA solid fat quarters that coordinate. They're a bit bigger than your usual fat quarter at 26x19 inches.
How do you get your hands on these beauties? There are several ways:
One entry: leave a comment below telling me your favorite fabric designer.
Second entry: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me what fabric line you just don't understand what the hub-bub is about
Third entry: blog about this particular giveaway (and leave the link in your comment) to spread the word of this Echino extravaganza
Winner will be chosen by random number generator on 16 Dec. I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.
That's it! Super easy! Wishing you the best of luck and have a fantastic time blog hopping!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 918 Newer› Newest»That's a lovely set there, fingers crossed!
I love Lotta Jansdotter - I can't wait to use my Christmas money buying up yardage for my New Year sewing projects.
Except for a few lovely prints in the mid-c modern line I can't get on board with Amy Butler - it's just too busy and floral for me.
Ooh, right now I love Laurie Wisbrun's fabrics. They have been so fun to sew with for my kids, I own just about everything she had done.
I am now a follower. I wouldn't want to say anything bad about any designers, there are all kinds of things out there for all kinds of different people. I don't really understand batiks and more traditional color schemes, I like modern designs.
I love what Joel Dewberry has been coming out with lately.
Thanks for the generosity!
Anna Maria Horner has to be my favorite fabric designer. I always love her colors. Thank you for the giveaway.
scarletteandcinnamon(at)gmail(dot)com
My favourite is Etsuko Furuya so this giveaway is amazing!
I don't know if I have a favourite designer, but currently I've got my eye on some nice prints from Michael Miller. I also really like Happy Zombie's fabric designs, they're just as fun and cheerful as she is.
Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance! My favorite of all time is Joel Dewberry.
Ann Kelle.
Thx for the chance to win ^^v
It's hard for me to choose a favorite designer, although the Echino fabrics are up there for me.
I love love love Anna Maria Horner!
knspears (at) gmail (dot) com
Heather Ross. I swear, I fall more in love with her designs with every collection she releases. I do wish she'd reopen some of her spoonflower prints though as I missed some cute ones!
Its hard to pick a favorite designer..every designer has lines i love and lines I don't like...for example, i love heather ross's lightning bugs line...but i dont care for most of the far far away stuff...
Denyse Schmidt is my favorite designer. The first time I saw Hope Valley, I fell in love - it reminded me of classic Ukrainian fold design.
blog follower too...and as far as a designer i dont "get"...well..i just dont care for most of amy butler's stuff. Or kafe fasset...neither are really my style, but to each their own, really.
For a fabric that I don't like, I have to admit that I don't like any with weird-looking cats on them. They give me the heeby jeebies!
I haven't been sewing long enough to have a favorite designer or even a favorite style - there is so much gorgeous fabric out there. Roght now I'm loving soft cotton prints paired with linen and bright red/yellows/blues paired with white.
I am a new follower. I'm open to most fabric, but I will admit a distaste for realistic animal prints that always end up in "masculine" quilts.
I'd have to go with Joel Dewberry.
I love Alexander Henry. In my mind, that designer can do no wrong. :)
I love Kate Spain :)
I like Joel Dewberry. Thanks for the giveaway!
janiebt at gmail dot com
I love all things Anna Maria Horner...
I don't want to mention designers by name, but in general I'm not a huge fan of pastel-colored designs..
My favorite designer right now is Tula Pink
Is it boring to say that my current favorite is Kona solids?
Hi, thank you for the chance to win this great fabrics! I most like to use old vintage fabrics from my grandma, and therefore I have no favourite designer, because the fabrics are so old, I can´t tell who designed it. But I like Amy Butler, too
I love me some Joel Dewberry.
I love Joel Dewberry.
I've never really "gotten" novelty/character-driven fabrics.
i like kona
Heather Ross & Alice Kennedy - love
I like Anna Maria Horner but I don't really pay attention to the different fabric designers of my favorite fabric.
brevistraex@gmail.com
I would have to say that my all time favorite Designer would have to be Denyse Schmidt. And even thought I only have itty bitty scraps of some of her lines, I adore them so.
I'm prefer to keep what I'm not a fan of to myself...so as to not hurt any feelings amongst the online quilting community.
I don't really know many designers but I'm expecting a couple of charm packs of Terrain very soon which I'm excited about (and, to prove my uselessness at naming designers, I think it's by Kate Spain but I had to Google to check it!) and I LOVE anything by Aneela Hoey!
I love Denyse Schmidt, I wish her fabrics were available in my LQS in Germany!
My favorite is Heather Ross' Far Far Away 2. I made a quilt for my daughter out of it and I feel that the Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty prints are far more tasteful than Disney licensed fabrics.
LauraL444 at yahoo dot com
Favorite designer? I don't think I have one, but I really love solids or blenders just because they are so very usable and versatile. That's why I love this giveaway. Thanks for the chance.
Hi !
I love liberty fabric, but I'm not sure there are deisgners names for that...
Anyway, a big thank you for this giveaway !
c.bolon at yahoo.fr
I am a new follower. I am not so keen on Tina Givens' and Sarah Fielke's fabrics. But I love Sarah's books!
Because I'm so useless at naming designers and fabric lines I don't really know which ones I don't like/don't understand the hype about but I'm not fond of anything with lots of brown or cream in - does that count?!! Hope you're settling in, we miss you!
Picking my favorite designer would be like picking a favorite child. Love Patty Young, Patricia Bravo, Valeri Wells....
what a fabulous giveaway! Thanks so much. My favorite fabric designer is Jessica Jones. I love outside oslo.
Hi Cindy!

I don't really have an absolute favorite. Some are really hit or miss but I dolove anything by Camille and Bonnie.
I'm a "follower" now and theres not any fabric I didn't really like but I don't understand the loulouthi line. I know its a AMH collection but just understand the hype.
What a lovely Give Away, thankyou :)
My Fav designer at the moment is Joel Dewberry.
And for my 2nd chance - I am already a follower :)
I would absolutely give theses fabrics a wonderful home, as I make Waldorf dolls and give them away to desiring little ones. These fabrics would make oh so lovely clothes for our Windfall Dolls.
I Love the printed fabrics. How very generous!
http://windfalldolls.blogspot.com/
Thank you for the opportunity.
jules@adirondack-mama.com
Anna Maria Horner is my favorite designer!
Caleb Grey - I think that was the name of the cupcake fabric I once bought.
I'm a follower - and I just don't get the "word" prints. Not my thing.
There's not much fabric I don't get - and the longer I sew I find the more eclectic my taste becomes :) Now if we were to talk about yarn.......I can't stand all those ghastly 'frilly' yarns that seem to be in 'fashion' at the moment!
I really like Aneela Hoey
I don't like the patriotic fabrics very much.
OMG! This is an amazing giveaway! Picking just one favorite fabric designer is so hard. How can you choose just one? I love Echino. I love Kitty Yoshida. I love Jay McCarroll. I love Heather Ross and Amy Butler... My list could co on for days.
I like Amy Butler's fabric designs.
I don't think there are any fabrics I don't like... none come to mind!
Thank you for the giveaway! I really like Kokka fabric.
Denyse Schmidt is my fave!

I will have to say Amy Butler although I like what I like doesn't matter who designs it so much!
Thanks!

I have loved every fabric Heather Ross has ever done. Merry Christmas!
I`m a very happy camper follower and I love this question because I can come out of the closet and shout from the rafters `The Pips!!!!` I just don`t like it.
I am a long time follower! Fabric I'm not sure about....I don't really get that French General line Moda do!
I love Lotta Jansdotter's fabric.
I'm a follower. I never understand the muddy civil war fabrics. I like crisp and bright.
I love so many designers, but Joel Dewberry seems to nail it every time for me. Love his color and motif selection- always fab!

I am spreading the word... :)
http://desireeaimee.blogspot.com/2011/12/sew-mama-sew-giveaway-days.html
i really like Joel Dewberry
Hmm...I think I like Joel Dewberry as well as Bonnie and Camille.
Fabulous giveaway! I don't have a favourite designer.
I am a Anna Maria Horner type of girl. :) Her collections are consistently the ones I look forward to the most after quilt show!
I seem to be using a lot of Lizzy House and Aneela Hoey at the moment.
i love anna maria horner's work!!
My favorite designer is a tie between Heather Bailey & Erin McMorris!
I am now a follower.
I wasn't thrilled with the Habitat fabric by Jay McCarroll.
Already a follower and can't think of anything I really dislike, maybe some of the more naff novelties.
I feel somewhat sheepish saying that I don't pay too much attention to the different designers... I either get what I need for a project, or I get what "speaks to me" if I am stash building. I'll be old fashioned and say Kaffe Fassett!
I love Jessica Jones. Outside Oslo makes me swoon!
Like some others here, I don't totally get Denyse Schmidt. I like some of her fabric and don't care one way or t'other for some...
I know its blaspheme but I don't really like Anna Maria Horner. I find it to be too much.
I particularly love Joel Dewberry fabrics.
I don't particularly care for the Heather Ross Goldfish in a bag fabric. I like some of her other stuff, though.
I am a follower- I just do not get Kath Kidston. To me it just misses the point of Chintzy fabrics
My favorite designer is Joel Dewberry! I love the birds and flowers and leaves.... :) Thanks for the great giveaway!
Sweetwater is my favoriate designer
I love most Amy Butler and Lotta Jansdotter prints.
It's hard to pick but I think Melody Miller would have to be my favourite designer! Thanks

I'm a new follower.
I don't like cartoons and batiks.
I'm having a giveaway too, you're more than wellcome to come and say hi
I have no favourite designer. There are so many cute things out there. I am a beginner, so i mostly buy the cheaper ones.
Following !
I'm a fan of Denyse Schmidt, but my life it's expensive getting it shipped over from the states!
Great giveaway! I like Basic Grey a lot! And American Jane, and Heather Ross. :)
I love Tula Pink
I don't love much Amy Butler. There are a few older prints I LOVE (lotus lacework) but most of the newer lines I don't care for
Favourite Frabric Designer....Well my first was Amy Butler but I have a very soft spot for Aneela Hoey
I bought the Amy Butler SB and was quite disappointed in it...It is still in my stash...I suppose one day I will get around to using it!
amy butler!
I'm going to be honest and say I do not have a favorite designer... I usually make do with inexpensive fabric so I'm not all that familiar with the designers.
Ooh, I think my favourite designer is Heather Ross, for her beautiful Far Far Away line. Dreamy!
emailbylili[at]mac.com
Oh dear lordy I am too excited and can;t remember what I am meant to be answering!!
Oh yes - I am a bit of a Denyse Schmidt lover!!
Oooh I hate comedy fabrics!! Not so much a 'line' but a lifestyle choice by some! Think I am a follower :)
I really love things by Joel Dewberry currently!
michaelacking (at) gmail (d0t) com
Ok, I'll be honest. I don't get everyone's love for Heather Ross! Her individual fabrics I find overwhelming. But here's the ridiculous part, for me: When I see quilts made out of her fabrics, I love them. I'm crazy!
michaelacking (at) gmail (d0t) com
So hard to pick, but I would have to say Denise Schmidt. When I saw Hope Valley in person I realized how beautiful it was.
Favourite is difficult. So many one likes so much. I quite like Terry Degenkolb, who did a lovely birdy print for Red Rooster. But there are plenty of others I love too
I'm partial to Joel Dewberry myself :)
Glad to see you back, and I am spreading the word, to my few readers!
http://mammafairysews.blogspot.com/2011/12/sorted.html
I would say probably Robert Kaufman. His fabrics are always so fun. And the fact that he did the suess fabric, won my heart over. :)
You know, I love Kate Spain and Joel Dewberry, but when I go in an LQS, I always seem to find the Michael Miller fabrics no matter what!
Barbara Brackman is one I love
I love Echino!!
Im a follower and i dont understand holiday fabric, never liked it
Follow you and don't really have a line I can't fathom what the fuss is about

Amy Butler's fabrics aren't for me; I find them rather psychedelic. :}
I love Japanese fabrics, especially Kokka and Echino. I am also loving Echo by Lotta Jansdottir.
I'm not too fussed with Amy Butler's Lark range. I usually love her, especially the Lotus range.
I recently get some of Lotta Jansdöter fabrics...i'd love them but i couldn't say it's my favourite designer...
Thanks for the chance!

iammaryburke(at)gmail(dot)com

Mary
iammaryburke(at)gmail(dot)com
Kate Spain is my favorite designer.
I'm a new follower and I'm sorry anyone, but I just don't get the Civil War reproduction lines. I like bright and happy or cute and pastel, not dark and moody!
I am already a follower, but I hope I can still play. Amy Butler is a designer that I love, but I just can't use any of her prints. I am definitely not a fan of Lark. LOL
I think Heather Ross is my favorite designer :-)
Fun! Oooh, my favorite? Tie between Erin McMorris and Lizzy House! :)
Fav. Fabric Designer would have to be Valori Wells. I just discovered her fabric, and love the elephants and birds! :)
I'm following, and I don't really like the "Meet the Gang" fabric. I think I just like more artistic, abstract, and fabric with cool designs.
I always seem to like fabric by Michelle D'Amore even when I don't know it's hers. Also I've lately been loving Kate Spain's stuff.
Lovely giveaway. I like Micheal miller!!
i like joel dewberry
i don't get amy butler
