Giveaway Day! Giveaway Day!

It's the day we've all been waiting for!  Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!  I'm so excited I just don't know where to start.

Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough.  To those just finding FSQ, welcome!  I'm so glad you're here!  Have a little look around, please :)

Right. Onto the giveaway.  Would you like a big, lovely stack of fabric to make something spectacular?  Well, how about yummy ECHINO prints?  I am in love with them.  There are 13 (yes, lucky 13) total with 8 at 9x10 inches and 5 at 9x19 inches.  Enough for a cute bag, several pouches or even a mini-quilt.

But wait!  You're going to need solids too!  I have a stack of 5 KONA solid fat quarters that coordinate.  They're a bit bigger than your usual fat quarter at 26x19 inches.

How do you get your hands on these beauties?  There are several ways:

One entry: leave a comment below telling me your favorite fabric designer.
Second entry: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me what fabric line you just don't understand what the hub-bub is about
Third entry: blog about this particular giveaway (and leave the link in your comment) to spread the word of this Echino extravaganza

Winner will be chosen by random number generator on 16 Dec.  I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.

That's it!  Super easy!  Wishing you the best of luck and have a fantastic time blog hopping!

How could I possibly pick a favourite designer - eeek?
Maybe I'll say Echino because they're right in front of me, but put MM, DS, AH, HR, Aneela etc.. etc ... in front of me and I'm bound to change my mind ;)

    ReplyDelete
  17. And of course I am a member of your adoring fan club :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm a follower; Denyse Schmidt doesn't do it for me!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have to be honest and say I don't have a favourite fabric designer.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Favourite fabric designer... there are so many! LOL! I love Tula Pink though!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is THE best giveaway I've seen! I can only dream of having enough Enchino to make something with! Amy Butler is hitting her straps again!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm a follower and I usually don't take much notice of who makes the stuff i DON'T like!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love Tanya Whelan fabric and Amy Butler, do I have to choose?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I am a follower. I can never really like any of the 1800 reproduction lines that come out, I want bright, crisp and modern.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would have to say Kaffee Fassett...and I don't own a single piece!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I really don't get 30's reproductions...sort of cute but not for me.

    ReplyDelete
  31. my fave fabric designer is Kate Spain :) gooberific @ yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  32. i just don't understand the hub bub about Sherbet Pips ?!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love the lines from French General.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't care much for Kate Spain. There are prints here and there that I would use, but never the entire line.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What a great giveaway!! My favorite is a toss up between Kate Spain, Jennifer Paganelli & Happy Zombie. Please don't make me choose...LOL

    ReplyDelete

  38. A follower? I basically stalk you... (Hi Clarkson! Hope you're being good for mama)

Oh, and I really dont get the hubub with Pips. Just not my style. Although I love little apples and walk in the woods.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh boy, I have to pick just one? Well, I do buy everything Tula Pink throws out there so I I'll say her :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. I love Deb Strain and Kate Spain. So funny how their names sound together!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm a follower! I won't say a particular fabric line that I don't get what the hub-bub is about (mostly because I just can't think of one right now) but I will say that I don't understand the obsession with using gray on everything. I never did accept the fact that it was the "new" neutral to use, LOL. I will say that I do like seeing projects made with it, but I just can't get on board with it. White will always be my favorite neutral, it's so crisp and clean.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't know All of the fabric designers..yet, but I do love Amy Butler.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  52. One? Yeah, no can do...I am usually more of a "like what is in front of me" kind of girl. LOL. However, many times when I peak at the selvage it turns out to be a name I recognize. I have what I call seasonal taste (Right now I would love Deb Strain (sp?) Later in winter (longing for spring) it will probably be Me & my Sister...Sorry. Can't commit. LOL. Thanks for the awesome opportunity!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm a follower, and at first the DS Quilts line, or really all Denyse Schmidt was like that for me, but it's grown on me to the point where I really like it. Lou Lou Thoui was the same way for me.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Oh my, my favourite designer changes with the wind, but off the top of my head, Joel Dewberry, Tula Pink, Sweetwater and Cosmo Cricket (is that diverse enough ;o) )

    weeshareblog@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well, my mother taught me if I had nothing nice to say to say nothing at all, so instead of mentioning a designer, I will instead say that I don't get all excited about novelty prints.

    ReplyDelete
  91. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  92. OK..second try, had to delete the first, I like the yummy fabric you are giving away. I understand and can appreciate the use of solids, but I just haven't been able to get into it. Maybe if I win your givaway, I will get a chance to practice!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. Your giveaway is sooo generous -- thank you! I do love Etsuko Furuya's Echino designs. I also love Suzuko Koseki, Kumiko Fujita, and Nani Iro's designs. Wow, I guess I'm all about the Japanese designers, huh? Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I love Heather Ross's fabrics - especially FFA 2! And Melody miller!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I follow your blog - usually don't fall in love with the simple prints - you know, the ones that you really need! I always love the "main" patterned fabric best.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I don't like Christmas fabrics :(

    ReplyDelete
  101. Another Amy Butler fan here. Love her mod florals!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Became a follower! And not feeling halloween fabric. There's such a short window to display it in. All that work (for a quilt) for such a short time to show it seems tragic to me. :)

    ReplyDelete
  103. I like Kate Spain - that said, I am new to designer fabrics, so there is a whole world of them for me to learn!

    ReplyDelete
  104. oh, i'm in love with terrain, so can i say kate spain?

    ReplyDelete
  105. i'm not on the red and aqua bandwagon, so can i say all the red and aqua ones!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I don't have a favorite fabric designer. Thanks for the giveaway! robyn(dot)geddes(at)gmail(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  109. Well, I'm going to hold off on saying I don't get the hubbub of any particular line...because I'm always late to the party, not really loving something that everyone else is loving and then the minute it's hard to get a hold of I just fall in love!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Do not get the hubbub about Sherbet Pips.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Not sure I can totally narrow it down to one favorite, but I like most anything Joel Dewberry puts out there and have always been able to find great ones from Riley Blake, particularly their blenders/dots. Thanks, Cindy! Hope you are getting all settled in the new home!

    ReplyDelete

  114. Great giveaway!

Riley Blake always tickles my fancy.

    Thanks so much!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Well I've been a follower for a while now. I'm having a hard time coming up with any entire lines that I don't like, but I will say that though I love most things Anna Maria Horner does, Innocent Crush just didn't do much for me.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I do like Amy Butler, but it's really difficult for me to say that she is my all time fave.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I love Echino prints! This is one of my favourites giveaways.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I'm a follower and I don't understand all the hubbub about ...dare I say it, Denyse Schmidt!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Kate Spain is doing lovely fabrics.
    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  123. I'm nuts about Lotta Jansdotter. She makes me swoon. But, I'm falling in love with Melody Miller as well.

    ahappystitch[at]gmail[dot]com

    ReplyDelete
  124. don't understand the echo craziness- it's pretty, but so many are :)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  126. I particularly love Riley Blake fabrics....but I mainly sew for children!

    ReplyDelete
  127. If I had to pick just one, it would probably be Anna Maria Horner--I just love her use of color!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hi Cindy, think my favourite designer at the moment is Kate Spain, but seems to change on a fairly regular basis! Thanks for the chance to win. Caz(dot)Clarke(at)hotmail(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  129. I'm really liking monluna right now...

    ReplyDelete
  130. It's so hard picking just one fabric designer to love! I'd probably say Michael Miller.

Thank you for the opportunity to win your great giveaway prize! Happy holidays to you and your family! <3

    krencamp(at)gmail(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  131. I have fallen for Lottie Jansdotter's echo collection at the minute - love some Joel Dewberry too, though.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Is it wrong that most of the Amy Butler fabrics don't make me want to grab them...?
    Great giveaway.
    hillwards(at)gmail(dot)com

    ReplyDelete
  133. At the moment it's Lotta Jansdotter!

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'm a follower!
I don't understand the fuss over Kaffe Fasset

    ReplyDelete
  135. I love Denyse Schmidt's fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  136. I'm a follower and I don't understand the love of most of Amy Butler's designs. A few are nice, but most of them I just do not love.

    ReplyDelete
  137. One of my favorite designers is Joel Dewberry.

    ReplyDelete
  138. My current favorite designer is Holly Taylor.

    ReplyDelete
  139. I Love Kate Spain. A lot of times I end up buying fabric because of the look and it ends up being hers.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm a follower now! Hmmm, I guess my non-following of the crowd is more about fabric choice than a specific designer...I've never been into flannels. But maybe that's because I've never tried it.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Ok, I've got two : Lotta Jansdotter (i discovered her (i guess she's a she) recently with her new line and Lizzy House. But I also love Pat Bravo and Amy Butler...

    ReplyDelete
  142. Following. I can't remember the name of it, but there is some 1930s line out there (moda), that I have seen a lot of it. It doesn't really appeal to me.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I'm a new follower.

Ok, don't kill me for saying that, but I don't get why people are so crazy about some Heather Ross fabric lines... I mean, she did a good job, but I don't like all what she makes !

    ReplyDelete
  144. Thank you for a chance to win! I absolutely love Riley Blake fabrics!

    Merry Christmas!

    ReplyDelete
  145. I have to go with Alexander Henry. I have loved all of their fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  146. DS fabrics are ok but I don't get why people are so crazy about them.

    ReplyDelete
  147. My fav is Anna Maria Horner. Always greatness from her!

    ReplyDelete
  148. Its got to be Heather Ross for me. Beautiful and unique fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  149. I am loving anything from Sweetwater right now.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I love Kokka fabrics :-). Thanks for the give away!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Oh geez, my favorite designer? That's a very hard call. If I really had to pick, I'd say Lizzy House!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Love the pack of fabrics. I love to make fabric zipper bags and post cards that use small amounts of fabric.

    Thanks! Sarah
    scotthoughton@verizon.net

    ReplyDelete
  153. My all time favorite designer is Anna Maria Horner, but I do love Echino fabrics and Nani Iro as well!

    ReplyDelete
  154. I seriously fell over and had to regain my composure when I saw your link on SMS!!! Who WOULDN'T want some ECHINO!!!!!!!????????? I REALLY REALLY hope I win this : )

I really adore Sweetwater. I just can't get enough!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  155. I've never paid much attention to who designed a fabric, so I can't even name all that many! Off the top of my head, Amy Butler, probably. :)

    ReplyDelete
  156. I love Patricia Bravo's collections. Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Sandy Gervais was my "to die for" favorite until I started falling into love with Kate spain's lines...

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  160. I am already a follower! I don't understand "Sherbit pips" to be honest, it all looks the same to me...

    ReplyDelete
  161. i'm a follower. i'm not excited about terrain. i know-the horror.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I think I'd have to say Riley Blake--partly because of his Indian Summer--I've been dying to get my hands on that yet :P

    ReplyDelete
  163. My favorite designer is Kate Spain. I love it! =)

    ReplyDelete
  164. Cindy! We've missed you!!

I don't think I have a favourite designer. I don't know who designs half my fabric because I am so clueless. But I am loving my Terrain that sits and waits to be used, and the Delighted FQs that I was given as a gift, and I have enjoyed the Etchings I just used. Basically I can't pin myself down to a favourite!

    ReplyDelete
  165. my personal favorite, sandi henderson!

    thanks for the amazing giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  166. I see lots of fabric lines I think aren't for me but then you or any number of fab quilters out there go and make something so nice with it that I change my mind. I'm fickle and easily influenced, what can I say?!

    ReplyDelete
  167. omg...loving this giveaway!
My favourite designer is Joel Dewberry, hands down.
Also, my house number is 13, one of my fav numbers :)

    ReplyDelete
  168. I love Bonnie and Camilla. Oh, and Fig Tree Designs. Yes, Fig Tree Designs are my favourite. No, Amy Butler! No, back to Fig Tree... Or maybe Bonnie and Camilla...

    ReplyDelete
  169. I've recently fallen hard for Tula Pink!

    ReplyDelete
  170. There isn't really one designer/line that I don't like, but in general, I don't go for any christmas/halloween/holiday type lines. Just not into holiday quilts I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  171. I...don't have a favourite fabric designer. I know what I like when I see it, but I never know who designed what. I'm always discovering some fat quarter I bought a couple years ago was designed by someone I didn't know at the time but have heard a lot about since, lol. xo

    ReplyDelete
  172. I'm a follower already! i guess if i had to pick something to not like, maybe i'd go with sherbert pips? i know a lot of people love it or hate it, and i think it's looked lovely in many quilts i've seen, but i would never buy any of it, lol. too dreary for my taste! (at the moment, anyways!)

    ReplyDelete
  173. favorite designer... that's really hard cause i tend to just buy fabric i like without paying much attention to who made it, but i met tula pink a few months ago and she was cool as hell. talked about all kinds of crazy things and got to see some of her sketches. i really like her drawings and how it translated into fabric.
