It's the day we've all been waiting for! Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I'm so excited I just don't know where to start.
Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
Right. Onto the giveaway. Would you like a big, lovely stack of fabric to make something spectacular? Well, how about yummy ECHINO prints? I am in love with them. There are 13 (yes, lucky 13) total with 8 at 9x10 inches and 5 at 9x19 inches. Enough for a cute bag, several pouches or even a mini-quilt.Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
But wait! You're going to need solids too! I have a stack of 5 KONA solid fat quarters that coordinate. They're a bit bigger than your usual fat quarter at 26x19 inches.
How do you get your hands on these beauties? There are several ways:
One entry: leave a comment below telling me your favorite fabric designer.
Second entry: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me what fabric line you just don't understand what the hub-bub is about
Third entry: blog about this particular giveaway (and leave the link in your comment) to spread the word of this Echino extravaganza
Winner will be chosen by random number generator on 16 Dec. I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.
That's it! Super easy! Wishing you the best of luck and have a fantastic time blog hopping!
Hi, Tina Givens is my favourite designer :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not enthusiastic about Moda's Circa 1934 fabrics.
ReplyDeleteHi I love Laura Gunn fabrics. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't get the big fuss over the loulouthi range. It's not super gorgeous
ReplyDeleteI think my fave is the Quilted Fish.
ReplyDeleteI don't get Xmas fabric. I never have liked any of it.
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite designer is Joel Dewberry but how I love Echino too!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite at the moment has to be Lottie Jansdotter Echo! Love it!
ReplyDeleteCindy no fabric line is awful surely - I'd accept any!
ReplyDeleteI don't love Amy Butler's Lark line, which is surprising because I usually love her fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love anything American Jane by Sandy Klop
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, and I'm not so keen on French General, but they're not really my colours...
ReplyDeleteI'm loving Kate Spain at the moment as I'm using her Flurry line on a couple of projects.
ReplyDeleteI love Amy Butler.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of Alexander Henry's designs (most of them anyway) but my favourite at the moment is Lizzy House, I love the 1001 Peeps line
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway, Cindy! Absolute favourite is Echino and Suzuko Koseki, anything japanese really :)
ReplyDeleteNot so keen on Tina Givens
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh I just SWOONED! Yum yum yum!
ReplyDeleteHow could I possibly pick a favourite designer - eeek?
Maybe I'll say Echino because they're right in front of me, but put MM, DS, AH, HR, Aneela etc.. etc ... in front of me and I'm bound to change my mind ;)
And of course I am a member of your adoring fan club :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I love this giveaway!. Kafe Fasset is my favourite designer.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I am a follower.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate Spain! Really! Central Park, Flurry, Terrain... all lovely!
ReplyDeleteSusanne
I follow! And I don't understand the DS-hype - sorry ;)
ReplyDeleteSusanne
I'm a follower; Denyse Schmidt doesn't do it for me!
ReplyDeleteI have to be honest and say I don't have a favourite fabric designer.
ReplyDeleteFavourite fabric designer... there are so many! LOL! I love Tula Pink though!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower!
ReplyDeleteFMF I don't get.. hope valley on the other hand is a totally different matter! :)
This is THE best giveaway I've seen! I can only dream of having enough Enchino to make something with! Amy Butler is hitting her straps again!
ReplyDeleteTula Pink is my favorite by far.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and I usually don't take much notice of who makes the stuff i DON'T like!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Tanya Whelan fabric and Amy Butler, do I have to choose?
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. I can never really like any of the 1800 reproduction lines that come out, I want bright, crisp and modern.
ReplyDeleteJoel Dewberry, of course :)
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Kaffee Fassett...and I don't own a single piece!!
ReplyDeleteI really don't get 30's reproductions...sort of cute but not for me.
ReplyDeletemy fave fabric designer is Kate Spain :) gooberific @ yahoo.com
ReplyDeletei just don't understand the hub bub about Sherbet Pips ?!
ReplyDeleteI love the lines from French General.
ReplyDeleteI don't care much for Kate Spain. There are prints here and there that I would use, but never the entire line.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway!! My favorite is a toss up between Kate Spain, Jennifer Paganelli & Happy Zombie. Please don't make me choose...LOL
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designers are Brannock and Patek. Suits my style.
ReplyDeleteYou have a delicious stack of fabrics for the give-away!
Oooh Cindy! You've rustled up some delicious goodies girl!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite designer is probably Denise Schmidt. But I couldnt say no to the Sweetwater girls either...
A follower? I basically stalk you... (Hi Clarkson! Hope you're being good for mama)
ReplyDeleteOh, and I really dont get the hubub with Pips. Just not my style. Although I love little apples and walk in the woods.
Oh boy, I have to pick just one? Well, I do buy everything Tula Pink throws out there so I I'll say her :)
ReplyDeleteI love Deb Strain and Kate Spain. So funny how their names sound together!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! I won't say a particular fabric line that I don't get what the hub-bub is about (mostly because I just can't think of one right now) but I will say that I don't understand the obsession with using gray on everything. I never did accept the fact that it was the "new" neutral to use, LOL. I will say that I do like seeing projects made with it, but I just can't get on board with it. White will always be my favorite neutral, it's so crisp and clean.
ReplyDeleteI don't know All of the fabric designers..yet, but I do love Amy Butler.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower, but couldn't speak ill of any fabric.
ReplyDeleteKate Spain definately is my favorite.

i am tempted to open fake accounts for more chances to win this !
ReplyDeletelove all of the pieces to this give away
and I am now a follower.
ReplyDeleteOne? Yeah, no can do...I am usually more of a "like what is in front of me" kind of girl. LOL. However, many times when I peak at the selvage it turns out to be a name I recognize. I have what I call seasonal taste (Right now I would love Deb Strain (sp?) Later in winter (longing for spring) it will probably be Me & my Sister...Sorry. Can't commit. LOL. Thanks for the awesome opportunity!!
ReplyDeleteI am a (happy) follower. I would blog about this, but it would be cheating. LOL. Only two people read my blog...LOL
ReplyDeleteHeather Ross is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, and at first the DS Quilts line, or really all Denyse Schmidt was like that for me, but it's grown on me to the point where I really like it. Lou Lou Thoui was the same way for me.
ReplyDeleteOh my, my favourite designer changes with the wind, but off the top of my head, Joel Dewberry, Tula Pink, Sweetwater and Cosmo Cricket (is that diverse enough ;o) )
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win these goodies :o)
Hmm, AMH Loulouthi doesn't really do it for me, nor Denise Schmidt, sorry ladies!
ReplyDeleteI love so many! Joel Dewberry is great, as is Amy Butler and DS and a heap more!!

ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! You have made some great choices. Thanks for sharing.
And just because I follow you (well stalk, much like Laullipops!) never really got DS or the Pips, but both are slow growers :) There's hope for me yet!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand Little Apples...just not my thing!
ReplyDeleteI added your giveaway to my blog at http://gapquilter.blogspot.com/p/giveaways.html
ReplyDeleteI love Melody Miller, although it's hard to pick just one designer!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a follower already. I don't understand about Prince Charming. I have some of the fabric and it's nice enough, but it doesn't really do anything for me. :-/
ReplyDeleteGorgeous giveaway lovely! My favourite? Love too many to say... I think my fave fave at the moment is Jeanean Morrison as I loved California Dreamin, I really really loved Silent Cinema, and I think I love Power Pop too...
ReplyDeleteI love Amy Butler fabrics- so fresh!
ReplyDeletekimberlydbertram@hotmail.com
I'd follow you anywhere... and at the other end of the scale... I dont really get Terrain. I mean, its okay, and I'd have to say that the terrain Colours are great, but I'm still not excited about it as a range.
ReplyDeleteI do love Echino and a lot of the Kokka prints too
ReplyDeleteFavorite designer, at the moment, is Jay-Cyn Designs, as I finish up a quilt from that line for my son!
ReplyDeleteAnna Maria Horner is my favorite fabric designer. Great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteat the moment I am totally into Robert Kaufmann ... but that can change any time
ReplyDeleteI have several favorites, but I'm particularly enamored with Melody Miller and Lizzy House at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI am not rally into Amy Butler
ReplyDeleteMy top three favorites (cause I can't choose 1) are Tula Pink, Amy Butler and Anna Maria Horner. Just love! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI just moved back to Canada after 5 years in Japan.. so Echino is my hands-down favourite fabric line... which makes my favourite designer Etsuko Furuya!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Heather Ross, but I love these Echino prints (especially the bordered ones)
ReplyDeleteBeing an Australian, I have a soft spot for Prints Charming. I love their new line - Daisy Chain, and their hand screen prints are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love Lori Holts fabrics for Riley Blake
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designer is Jennifer Paginelli. I read that you had been away from your blog, I hope it was for good reasons not bad.
ReplyDeleteDon't know a lot of fabric designers names but I know what I like and I LIKE these ECHINO prints.
ReplyDeletemeganarline(at)hotmail(dot)com
My favourite designer? I am pretty fickle! Right now I am loving on Marcia Derse.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with valori wells right now
ReplyDeleteI tend to love Riley Blake, but there are many other I like as well.
ReplyDeleteDesi
weeshareblog@gmail.com
Well, my mother taught me if I had nothing nice to say to say nothing at all, so instead of mentioning a designer, I will instead say that I don't get all excited about novelty prints.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteOK..second try, had to delete the first, I like the yummy fabric you are giving away. I understand and can appreciate the use of solids, but I just haven't been able to get into it. Maybe if I win your givaway, I will get a chance to practice!!!
ReplyDeleteYour giveaway is sooo generous -- thank you! I do love Etsuko Furuya's Echino designs. I also love Suzuko Koseki, Kumiko Fujita, and Nani Iro's designs. Wow, I guess I'm all about the Japanese designers, huh? Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteAnnnd I kind of don't see the amazingness of Pez prints:)
ReplyDeleteAneela Hooley is my favourite atm :)
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I'm totally in love with So Sophie by My Mind's Eye.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the big fuss over Flea Market fancy, but I'm fickle so that may change when it gets re-relaeased ;)
I'm your new follower!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Tula Pink.
ReplyDeleteI love Heather Ross's fabrics - especially FFA 2! And Melody miller!
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog - usually don't fall in love with the simple prints - you know, the ones that you really need! I always love the "main" patterned fabric best.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate Spain
ReplyDeleteI don't like Christmas fabrics :(
ReplyDeleteAnother Amy Butler fan here. Love her mod florals!
ReplyDeleteBecame a follower! And not feeling halloween fabric. There's such a short window to display it in. All that work (for a quilt) for such a short time to show it seems tragic to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI like Kate Spain - that said, I am new to designer fabrics, so there is a whole world of them for me to learn!
ReplyDeleteoh, i'm in love with terrain, so can i say kate spain?
ReplyDeletei'm not on the red and aqua bandwagon, so can i say all the red and aqua ones!?!?!
ReplyDeletei tweeted, does that count? http://twitter.com/#!/loveolamb/status/146250578459234304
ReplyDeleteI love Heather Ross's designs!
ReplyDeleteSo so so many fab designers! I love Heather Bailey right now, but I could list about 2 dozen more I'm smitten with, too! Thanks for the chance - I love your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite fabric designer. Thanks for the giveaway! robyn(dot)geddes(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteCurrently loving Kate Spain!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm going to hold off on saying I don't get the hubbub of any particular line...because I'm always late to the party, not really loving something that everyone else is loving and then the minute it's hard to get a hold of I just fall in love!
ReplyDeleteDo not get the hubbub about Sherbet Pips.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I love Ann Kelle
ReplyDeleteI don't quite understand Aneela Hoey
ReplyDeleteNot sure I can totally narrow it down to one favorite, but I like most anything Joel Dewberry puts out there and have always been able to find great ones from Riley Blake, particularly their blenders/dots. Thanks, Cindy! Hope you are getting all settled in the new home!
ReplyDeleteLaurie Wisbrun's Urban Circus prints are my new favorites
ReplyDeleteHi, i would love to win this lovely fabric:)
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
ReplyDeleteRiley Blake always tickles my fancy.
Thanks so much!
Well I've been a follower for a while now. I'm having a hard time coming up with any entire lines that I don't like, but I will say that though I love most things Anna Maria Horner does, Innocent Crush just didn't do much for me.
ReplyDeleteI do like Amy Butler, but it's really difficult for me to say that she is my all time fave.
ReplyDeleteI love Echino prints! This is one of my favourites giveaways.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
lauramdd(at)terra(dot)es
I have several, but love Jennifer Paganelli!
ReplyDeleteMy fave designed is Anna Maria Horner. I love her colors :)
ReplyDeletemcgulisa(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteI love kate spain.
ReplyDeleteKate Spain is doing lovely fabrics.

ReplyDeletedon't understand the echo craziness- it's pretty, but so many are :)
ReplyDeleteI love so many designers it is hard to pick one but I always love Kate Spain
ReplyDeleteOne of your newest followers :)
ReplyDeleteI particularly love Riley Blake fabrics....but I mainly sew for children!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick just one, it would probably be Anna Maria Horner--I just love her use of color!
ReplyDeleteKate Spain! Such lovely stuff!!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy, think my favourite designer at the moment is Kate Spain, but seems to change on a fairly regular basis! Thanks for the chance to win. Caz(dot)Clarke(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking monluna right now...
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard picking just one fabric designer to love! I'd probably say Michael Miller.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win your great giveaway prize! Happy holidays to you and your family! <3
krencamp(at)gmail(dot)com
I have fallen for Lottie Jansdotter's echo collection at the minute - love some Joel Dewberry too, though.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that most of the Amy Butler fabrics don't make me want to grab them...?
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway.
hillwards(at)gmail(dot)com
At the moment it's Lotta Jansdotter!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the fuss over Kaffe Fasset
I love Denyse Schmidt's fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and I don't understand the love of most of Amy Butler's designs. A few are nice, but most of them I just do not love.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite designers is Joel Dewberry.
ReplyDeleteMy current favorite designer is Holly Taylor.
ReplyDeleteI Love Kate Spain. A lot of times I end up buying fabric because of the look and it ends up being hers.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower now! Hmmm, I guess my non-following of the crowd is more about fabric choice than a specific designer...I've never been into flannels. But maybe that's because I've never tried it.
ReplyDeleteOk, I've got two : Lotta Jansdotter (i discovered her (i guess she's a she) recently with her new line and Lizzy House. But I also love Pat Bravo and Amy Butler...
ReplyDeleteFollowing. I can't remember the name of it, but there is some 1930s line out there (moda), that I have seen a lot of it. It doesn't really appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteOk, don't kill me for saying that, but I don't get why people are so crazy about some Heather Ross fabric lines... I mean, she did a good job, but I don't like all what she makes !
Thank you for a chance to win! I absolutely love Riley Blake fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I have to go with Alexander Henry. I have loved all of their fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love Heather Ross fabircs!
ReplyDeleteDS fabrics are ok but I don't get why people are so crazy about them.
ReplyDeleteMy fav is Anna Maria Horner. Always greatness from her!
ReplyDeleteIts got to be Heather Ross for me. Beautiful and unique fabric!
ReplyDeleteI am loving anything from Sweetwater right now.
ReplyDeleteI love Kokka fabrics :-). Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteOh geez, my favorite designer? That's a very hard call. If I really had to pick, I'd say Lizzy House!
ReplyDeleteLove the pack of fabrics. I love to make fabric zipper bags and post cards that use small amounts of fabric.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Sarah
scotthoughton@verizon.net
Joel Dewberry is a fave...among many!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite designer is Anna Maria Horner, but I do love Echino fabrics and Nani Iro as well!
ReplyDeleteI seriously fell over and had to regain my composure when I saw your link on SMS!!! Who WOULDN'T want some ECHINO!!!!!!!????????? I REALLY REALLY hope I win this : )
ReplyDeleteI really adore Sweetwater. I just can't get enough!!!!
I've never paid much attention to who designed a fabric, so I can't even name all that many! Off the top of my head, Amy Butler, probably. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Patricia Bravo's collections. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSandy Gervais was my "to die for" favorite until I started falling into love with Kate spain's lines...
ReplyDeletei love denyse schmidt! i want to invite her over for dinner...
ReplyDeleteRiley Blake, Heather Ross, oh I don't think I can choose lol. Love Michael Miller too.
ReplyDeleteI am already a follower! I don't understand "Sherbit pips" to be honest, it all looks the same to me...
ReplyDeleteI am a follower now.
ReplyDeletei'm a follower. i'm not excited about terrain. i know-the horror.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd have to say Riley Blake--partly because of his Indian Summer--I've been dying to get my hands on that yet :P
ReplyDeleteMy favorite designer is Kate Spain. I love it! =)
ReplyDeleteCindy! We've missed you!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have a favourite designer. I don't know who designs half my fabric because I am so clueless. But I am loving my Terrain that sits and waits to be used, and the Delighted FQs that I was given as a gift, and I have enjoyed the Etchings I just used. Basically I can't pin myself down to a favourite!
my personal favorite, sandi henderson!
ReplyDeletethanks for the amazing giveaway!
I see lots of fabric lines I think aren't for me but then you or any number of fab quilters out there go and make something so nice with it that I change my mind. I'm fickle and easily influenced, what can I say?!
ReplyDeleteomg...loving this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite designer is Joel Dewberry, hands down.
Also, my house number is 13, one of my fav numbers :)
I love Bonnie and Camilla. Oh, and Fig Tree Designs. Yes, Fig Tree Designs are my favourite. No, Amy Butler! No, back to Fig Tree... Or maybe Bonnie and Camilla...
ReplyDeleteI've recently fallen hard for Tula Pink!
ReplyDeleteThere isn't really one designer/line that I don't like, but in general, I don't go for any christmas/halloween/holiday type lines. Just not into holiday quilts I guess.
ReplyDeleteI...don't have a favourite fabric designer. I know what I like when I see it, but I never know who designed what. I'm always discovering some fat quarter I bought a couple years ago was designed by someone I didn't know at the time but have heard a lot about since, lol. xo
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower already! i guess if i had to pick something to not like, maybe i'd go with sherbert pips? i know a lot of people love it or hate it, and i think it's looked lovely in many quilts i've seen, but i would never buy any of it, lol. too dreary for my taste! (at the moment, anyways!)
ReplyDeletefavorite designer... that's really hard cause i tend to just buy fabric i like without paying much attention to who made it, but i met tula pink a few months ago and she was cool as hell. talked about all kinds of crazy things and got to see some of her sketches. i really like her drawings and how it translated into fabric.
ReplyDeletei'd have to say Robert Kaufman
ReplyDelete:)
