It's the day we've all been waiting for! Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I'm so excited I just don't know where to start.
Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
Right. Onto the giveaway. Would you like a big, lovely stack of fabric to make something spectacular? Well, how about yummy ECHINO prints? I am in love with them. There are 13 (yes, lucky 13) total with 8 at 9x10 inches and 5 at 9x19 inches. Enough for a cute bag, several pouches or even a mini-quilt.Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
But wait! You're going to need solids too! I have a stack of 5 KONA solid fat quarters that coordinate. They're a bit bigger than your usual fat quarter at 26x19 inches.
How do you get your hands on these beauties? There are several ways:
One entry: leave a comment below telling me your favorite fabric designer.
Second entry: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me what fabric line you just don't understand what the hub-bub is about
Third entry: blog about this particular giveaway (and leave the link in your comment) to spread the word of this Echino extravaganza
Winner will be chosen by random number generator on 16 Dec. I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.
That's it! Super easy! Wishing you the best of luck and have a fantastic time blog hopping!

I love the style of Diane Kappa. She's a hidden gem!
Sherbet Pips is sort of cute but not my cup of tea.
Hmm, Well I hope those of us who just don't pay attention to the designer are still eligible.
Alright, I've just said I don't pay attention to designers, but you can't miss Amy Butler and I'm not sure what the fuss is about.
Etsuko Furuya is my FAVORITE of course!
I know I'm gonna burn for this one, but Amy Butler is not my fav.
I love Amy Butler
I'm a follower and I don't understand holiday fabric either...you'll most likely only be able to wear what's made out of it once and that just seems like an awful lot of time to spend on something.
I tend to love the stuff no one else does, and hate the stuff everyone else loves. I'm wierd like that. I'm not gonna name names cuz I don't want to hurt feelings-I adore their hard work no matter WHO the designer! froggygirldesigns at gmail dot com
My favorite designer is Anna Maria Horner!
I'm a follower! I'm not super enthusiastic about the various DS Quilts fabrics at Joann's... they don't look that special to me.

I am a happy regular follower. I am not wild about the new line with foxes -- always have thought they were crafty little critters.
I have always liked Robert Kaufman.

My favorite designer is Michael Miller - his owls are so cute!
I could live without sherbert pips.
A fabric line that I'm not into is the Pez/Pezzy prints - I think it's too modern for my tastes. I became a follower thru GFC. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love Denyse Schmidt!
I'm a big fan of Kate Spain..naturally
I'm a new follower. I don't understand Kaffe Fassett!
I'm a new follower and I'm going to be lame and say I like all fabric!
I'm a big fan of both Heather Ross (macaroni love story is amazing). Anna Marie Horner - Innocent Crush is currently on my design wall. Amy Butler's Midwest Modern pops up in tons of things I quilt.
And I am currently planning out an Echino quilt using the London line for my hubster who is from England. So, really this giveaway i perfectly timed! Thanks so much for your generosity.

I love Anna Maria Horner, although it is hard to come by here and I have only ever owned 1 yard! (but oh how I love the scarf I used it for!)
I love me some Heather Ross. I know she's pretty popular, what with her OOP fabrics always being commodities, but I sure love the whimsy of her stuff. I mean, Mendocino? Who doesn't love some fish and mermaids?
Ooh, lovely giveaway! Can't wait to make something with that! My favorite fabric designer right now is lotta jansdotter
I follow your blog! I understand that FMF has a cult-like following, I'm just not in that cult.
Awesome giveaway! I love Amy Butler's designs!
I am so all over the place with fabric - I don't have a fave designer. It changes from day to day and project to project!
my favorite fabric designer is anna Maria Horner, hands down, but I like lots others too. Just look in my fabric closet;)
I don't know too many fabric designers (I'm still a newb when it comes to designer fabric!), but I know I love Kate Spain's designs.
Elisha (eternal.alchemy(at)gmail(dot)com)
Heather Ross is my favorite fabric designer.
My favorite designer is Anna Maria Horner--always bright, bold and unexpected.

HAPPILY FOLLOWING YOU!

LOVE BONNIE+CAMILLE!
THERE DESIGNS OF FABRICS+QUILT PROJECTS ARE WHAT I LIKE+TEND TO MAKE MOST!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!
Really? Just one designer? That's tough. Guess I'd have to pick Valori Wells! But I really do love so many more. :)
Already a follower. :)
While there have been several collections that I've not been a fan of...I do find that each has at least one design I like.
I'm new to the desinger fabric scene...but I hear about Anna Marie Horner (i think) a lot! :)
peachstateme(at)hotmail(d0t)com
Maybe Kate Spain, but I'm not sure.
I am in love with anything from Lotta Jansdotter! So fresh and modern!
Kate Spain at the moment, although most Moda lines are on my want list. Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

anghhong@yahoo.com
My favourite fabric designer would have to be Anna Maria Horner. Thanks for the great prize!
What the heck was the fuss about Little Apples? I thought the colours were not quite right especially the green. I always thought it was the way it was photographed but I finally saw it in my LQS and I still didn't get it.
I love anything by Sandy Gervais.
Amy
abcsemartin(at)yahoo(dot)com
I like Heather Ross's fabrics.
I don't really have a favourite fabric designer - I tend to prefer solids and batiks, and for prints I'm picky even within one designer's work.
I love Joel dewberry fabrics
I love Echino!! And I have none. I really like Heather Bailey and Joel Dewberry. Toss in some Heather Ross and I'm a happy camper. :)
My favorite designer right now is Urban Chicks. I also love the Happy Zombie line.
I have posted about this giveaway on my blog.
Riley Blake
I tend to like Kate Spain's designs. :) Thank you for the chance to win such a wonderful giveaway!
I'm a follower! I don't really get Sherbet Pips.
I've just discovered Melody Miller & I love her fabric designs, so unique & beautiful. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
I'm a follower & love your blog. The fabric line that I just don't feel the love for? I'm not crazy above the latest Denyse Schmidt DS Quilts line.
My confession: I do not know "lines". I just wander fabric stores until I see something I like, but I enver remember who made it! Drives my quilting friends BATTY. I'm the same way with music - I know what songs I like, but if they're by anyone except classical composers or John Denver, I have NO IDEA who wrote or performed the song. LOL
I have to say I have more then one I love Amy Butler and Heather Ross.
I love the Quilted Fish and Joel Dewberry and so many more! Just recently discovered Echino and have fallen hard! Love love love!
I love Nani Iro, especially some of the designs by Naomi Ito
I'm a follower.
I don't understand the big to-do over 1930s repro (right word?) fabric. Mystifies me!
I am always drawn to Riley Blake fabrics it seems.
aliben7 (at) gmail (dot) com
I love any fabric that is bold and unique. I spend a lot more time reconstructing than using new fabric so I dont' have a favorite designer per se. But I would LOVE some new fabric anyways:)
solsmom(at)gmail(dot)com
I'm a follower:)
I just don't understand the weird fabric combos on the racks in stores right now! It's just awful fashion:p
solsmom(at)gmail(dot)com
I am a big fan of Joel Dewberry and Anna Maria Horner. And I love Echino. I would love to make some zipper pouches or a little quilt/mug rug with these. Thanks.
kristie_keely(at)yahoo(d0t)com
what an amazing giveaway! I'm loving Kate Spain fabrics these days!
I love all Amy Butler!
I'm a new follower!
I love everything Joel Dewberry
I don't understand Amy Butler's Lark (though I do have one or two fat quarters of it--*sheepish grin*).
Actually, I like to quilt with whatever I can get my hands on, so I can't say whether I've ever had any "name-brand" fabric ... but I'm liking most of what I see from Moda ...
love anna maria horner!
I am currently in love with Nani Iro and Anna Maria Horner...
i just love KOKKA.
waipueyyee(at)gmail(dot)com
Lately I'm torn between Tula Pink, Joel Dewberry, and Tina Givens. Love them all!
arbendlin(at)gmail(dot)com
I love Jane Sassaman!
I'm kind of in love with Sweetwater fabrics. I think the designers are very talented.
Please don't count me out for not having a fave. I love just about everything my eyes see. I can think of a quilt for just about everyone I know when I look at different fabrics. I am hyperventilating at your give away. thank you.
Eep! I do not have a favourite designer, but I do love seeing Moda's new designer spotlights. There are so many talented people out there and I love seeing them get featured.
Thank you for a wonderful giveaway - it's a great collection of toys :)
Marilize
marilize(dot)paulsen(at)gmail(dot)com
I have many favourite designers, but Heather Ross is at the top of the list, I love her illustrations. (Closely followed by Lizzy House and Aneela Hoey!)
amy butler
I love Kokka prints.
I didn't understand the craze over Aneela's Sherbet Pips fabric. It's cute, and reminiscent of japanese prints (which i LOVE!) but it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I need to see some more examples of things sewn with it.
I love Amy Butler Moon Dots fabrics. They coordinate with so many of my other fabrics and are so much more fun to use than a plain old solid.
Hi! I'm a new follower (bloglovin)
I don't know a name of my favorite fabric desinger, but i love old English prints :-)
Denyse Schmidt is my favourite (and my best), as Lola would say!
I am a follower. I don't like City weekend from Moda very much.
Love Amy Butler
Not a big fan of x-mas fabrics...
Oh wow Cindy this is such a fantastic giveaway, I would so love to win! My favourite designer...how to choose, I think at the moment I'd go for Melody Miller although I don't have any of her fabric!
thanks
Oh brave question! The fuss about Denyse Schmidt I just don't get, I don't dislike the designs but the hype? no idea!
Amy Butler
love Michael Miller :) and Anna Maria Horner :))))))))
thanks for the giveaway, maybe you want to participate in mine, too...hein?? you are very welcome :))
Amy Butler
That is easy for me. Denyse Schmidt! She lives in my home state (CT) and I have gotten to meet her twice. She is every bit as lovely in person as you could imagine. That is a serious giveaway, thanks for the chance!
Now I am a follower!
I'm crushing on Anna Maria Horner!
Favorite designer is probably Holli Zollinger who sells on spoonflower. She's got fun things and a great graphic sensibility.
I've spread the Echino giveaway word :) at
http://secondhanddinosaur.blogspot.com/2011/12/mega-giveaway.html
Lottie Jansdotter Echo, like a lot of other people's, is my current obsession! I also really like solids, so Kona is up there as well :)
Hi! I love Lottie Jansdotter's fabrics!
(nerospostatgmaildotcom)
I really like Alexander Henry and Robert Kaufman. For some reason when I am looking at fabric and I got "oh wow, must have." It is more often than not one of the two.
I love the Sarah Jane Children At Play. So fun and playful! Thanks for the giveaway! Amy @ gasudimack(at)sbcglobal(dot)net.
Hullo. There is a line of fabrics that I've seen quilts made of, skirts, bags and other things. It's the Ruby Star Spring. I think it actually has nice colors and the hand of the fabric looks really nice to sew with. However, I have to say the Giant bees creep me out a bit.
I think Sherbet Pips was innovative when it came out, especially with it's new way of doing spot and dots. The colors were on-trend and it was refreshing and modern. There just may have been too much talk or exposure for some of you.
My favorite designs seem to come from the Aunt Grace line...I keep buying them but then I never use them. I'm confused with myself!!
I'm a follower! I didn't understand those Habitat fabrics...not my thing I suppose!
Hello, I'm a new "patchwoman" but I already fall in love with "Fig Tree" fabrics. I've bought "Butterscotch" charm pack to make a small patch.
sldc(at)orange(dot)fr
i'm terrible about remembering designers names. really terrible. i've loved lotta jandsdotter forever, though, so i'll go with her. oh, and I'm psyched about the ed emberley line coming out soon too. thanks for the chance - super duper giveaway!
I'm a new follower.

Thank you for an amazing giveaway -- I absolutely love echino! It is one of my favorites. At the moment another favorite is Nancy Mimms. Love that Pick a Bunch line!
There are a couple of lines that are just not to my taste, but usually I can see why they appeal to someone else. What leaves me cold are the photographic prints of moose in country landscape. I can see why someone else likes them, but they are not for me.

Nothing personal, but I have never understood the Kaffe Fasset fascination!
Oh, I forgot to say I'm a new follower! Sorry! Really am enjoying scooting around and reading older posts!
I am very fond of Joanna Figeroa, Heather Bailey and Camille Roskelley.
I don't care to pick out a single thing and say I don't care for it. Let me just say I am not a fan of Civil War prints. Thanks.
Wow! Gorgeous fabrics!! I love Kate Spain right now.
Since I love Rouenneries and Rouenneries Deux, I guess French General is my favorite. Super giveaway, thanks.
