It's the day we've all been waiting for! Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I'm so excited I just don't know where to start.
Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
Right. Onto the giveaway. Would you like a big, lovely stack of fabric to make something spectacular? Well, how about yummy ECHINO prints? I am in love with them. There are 13 (yes, lucky 13) total with 8 at 9x10 inches and 5 at 9x19 inches. Enough for a cute bag, several pouches or even a mini-quilt.Hi to my regular FSQ friends. I miss you guys, but hope to be back blogging and reading your blogs soon enough. To those just finding FSQ, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Have a little look around, please :)
But wait! You're going to need solids too! I have a stack of 5 KONA solid fat quarters that coordinate. They're a bit bigger than your usual fat quarter at 26x19 inches.
How do you get your hands on these beauties? There are several ways:
One entry: leave a comment below telling me your favorite fabric designer.
Second entry: become a follower and leave a second comment telling me what fabric line you just don't understand what the hub-bub is about
Third entry: blog about this particular giveaway (and leave the link in your comment) to spread the word of this Echino extravaganza
Winner will be chosen by random number generator on 16 Dec. I'm happy to ship anywhere in the world.
That's it! Super easy! Wishing you the best of luck and have a fantastic time blog hopping!

«Oldest ‹Older 601 – 800 of 918 Newer› Newest»Oooh just one? There are so many amazing designers, but Kate Spain and Denyse Schmidt are always right up my alley!
heather ross is my fav
thanks for the chance to win these beautiful fabrics! My favorite is SO hard to choose. I guess Kate Spain
I don't get the whole Sherbet Pips. it's ugly to me.
I like Riley Blake designs. :)
Riley Blake
My favorites are Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler and Tula Pink -- an eclectic group.
Awesome giveaway! I love Riley Blake Fabrics!! Oh and Amy butler!!!
I like alexander Henry. He has some pretty crazy stuff
Amy Butler was the designer who introduced me into the world of designer fabric, so i will always have a soft spot for her, even though her last couple lines haven't really been my style.
Anna maria Horner and Heather Ross are my favorites!
To have to choose a designer is really difficult. There are so many talented and creative designers that I couldn't pick just one. I love all of them and when there is something I see or want, I just buy it and if is from a designers, good for me and good for the designer. Your giaveway is awesome and any quilter would sure be happy as well as appreciative. Someone could actually start making a small quilt next year. Thank you for making this giveway special.
Merry Christmas
Sandi T.

Hi Cindy, Im back huarhhhhhh! hoping you are back with us again soon, what a fab giveaway! My fav designer (at the moment!) is Aneela Hoey.
Such bright, fun prints! Love the variety of colors and patterns. Hmmm... I would have to say my favorite fabric designer would probably be either Amy Butler or Anna Maria Horner.
alittlesparc(at)yahoo(dot)com
I love Robert Kaufman.
nikkipeachy AT yahoo DOT com
I really love the creativity of Tula Pink fabrics
If I had to pick one favorite designer, it would be Lotta Jansdotter. I've admired her blockprint fabrics for a long time!
I am a follower, and I am going to say Ruby. I just don't see the huge appeal about it. It is lovely, but a little blah, in my opinion.
I'm a follower of your blog!
And I blogged your giveaway at http://www.craftbuds.com/giveaway-roundup. Feel free to add any future giveaways you'd like to this roundup!
I always find myself drawn to Kate Spain. Her stuff is so nice.
I also just became a follower.
Favorite designer is Joel Dewberry. Thanks!
Good to see you it has been a while! I need to get blogging again
My favourite designer has to be Michael Miller I love everything he does :)

If I had to choose one line I don't get it would be Alexander Henry Fashionista it is too in your face for me.
My favorite designer is Jay McCarroll. Love his stuff!
I'm a new follower. Interesting question! I'm not in love with many of the Moda lines. Just not quite my style- too matchy matchy.
It's hard to name a favorite, because I love so many, but I think Martha Negley is dependably excellent and I always love what she produces. So, Martha Negley it is.
i love heather ross! but also really love echino and have been dying for some solids. this would make a smashing mini-quilt for sure.
thanks for the chance!
my 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all' reflex makes this difficult - but i don't care for kaffe fassett.
and i'm a new follower! thanks again.
Alexander Henry, Joel Dewberry and Echino fabrics !
I love Kate Spain's designs!
Thanks so much for the chance to win your giveaway!
I love micheal miller fabrics they are so cheery and cute!
Anna Maria Horner. Thanks for the great giveaway!
I have dreadfully flagellating taste so I couldn't possibly pin down one designer, there are so many talented people making lovely impressions on fabric for us to use and collect...I'd like to have that particular gift but such as it is I am content to have the opportunity to access theirs.
Anna Maria Horner:)
beckymac1 at hotmail dot com
Kate Spain and Bonnie and Camille are my fav designers.
Favorite designer is Heather Bailey.

Art can be terribly subjective, I was in the hospital a few days ago looking at the work on the walls of it's lobby and tried hard to fathom why anyone would make random marks on a canvas like that..it was interesting but made no sense to me. The very next day, going by the same painting but under considerable pressure personally and feeling it, I was about to enter the lift of that same lobby and the same picture caught my eye. Then that picture spoke to me loud and clear..it looked exactly like I felt...stretched and under pressure!! I had my answer! I feel loathe to critise anyone's art because they may be valid and useful and appropriate to other's if not to me. It was a wonderful feeling to have a piece of art (painted by a human being who had felt what I felt perhaps)communicate to me that I was not alone in my suffering..I was heard! It was a precious moment!
I am a follower and don't really have a designer that doesn't do it for me...It's more about colors for me. I didn't Ruby Star Rising when it came out, but have seen some amazing things made with it, so have totaly changed my mind about this fabric.
I like Moda fabrics at the moment
wilkcj04 at hotmail dot com
I really like Lotta Jansdotter.
Right now I am loving the Woodland line by Natalie Lymer. The fairies and toadstools are so cute!
kirkwood0419(at)hotmail(dot)com

I guess I don't understand all the hubub over Japanese prints?!?
Wowser! What a fab giveaway C! I'm not sure I have a fav designer, cos I just like fabric in general, but recently I've really liked Riley Blake. Jxo
I like Michael Miller.
aprilly (at) gmail (dot) com
They're so beautiful! I really like Kate Spain...
I don't have a fav fabric designer, I just tend to buy what I like... but I do like looking at the Spoonflower shop & seeing all the people's creations on there!!
Oh these fabrics look A-MAZING! I love so many fabrics, but I suppose I'll say Joel Dewberry is one of my favorite designers.
Hrm. Picking a favorite designer is tough, but if pressed I might say that either Malka Dubrovky (I'm sure I just got her last name wrong) or Heather Ross are favorites.
Thank you for the giveaway!
While I realize that I'm probably going to be stoned by the quilting community...I don't quite get the attraction to Amy Butler prints. There are a few that are kind of pretty but, as a whole, I just don't see the attraction.
My favorite is Marcia Derse--oh, I just love her designs!
Not a fan of thirties fabric.
alrighty! I am now a follower!
Let's see, I really don't care for many Riley Blake prints and part of that is due to the company trying to pass off even smaller cuts at a greater price (e.g., rolie polies, stackers).
Cute. I like Riley Blake.
I don't go for St Patrick's day fabrics.....maybe I don't like bright green. Great giveaway!
I like Kate Spain and I'm a follower, thanks!
i love heather ross' fabrics. thanks for the chance to win!
i love any fabric by the French General.
I am not crazy about the Our Gang line.
I love Kate Spain's design! Thanks for the giveaway chance!

I really like Valori Wells. Thanks for the chance to win! ryansarahn at gmail dot com.
I'm a new follower. While I love girl on a swing, I'm not the biggest fan of the colors of Little Apples. Thanks for the chance to win! ryansarahn at gmail dot com.
I like Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane. But there are so many nice patterns out there and I'm certainly no expert.
way too many to pick one but a few are Kate Spain, Heather Ross, American Jane, Basic Grey, Bonnie and Camille, Sandy Gervais, Deb Strain, Monoluna, Cloud 9, oh and I've just discovered Patricia Bravo :)
I'm now a follower but I have been a visitor ! and thanks for the chance to win that gorgeous Echino fabric - I love the scooters fabric (amongst others) !
Well, right now I am really liking Lottie Jansdotter and Japanese fabrics. I also love the rich colors of AMH.
I'm not in love with Amy Butler's latest line.
I love Kate Spain. I think her stuff may be a new addiction. I love a lot of the Echino prints but I can't afford them :(
And I'm also a follower. You know I love your blog
Strange, I don't think I have a favorite. So many great ones out there. Thank you for the giveaway.
leavengs(at)peak(dot)org
I love most of Moda's lines. Also- Cabbages & Roses.
Tammi
(songsiren1@yahoo.com)
My favorite is the Sweetwater team. I love everything they've done. Authentic is my all time fave.
I'm not into any of the neon, super brites. I can't say there's any fabric I think too much fuss has been about because it's all subjective. I'm a Follower, so thanks for the 2nd entry.
Patty Young is fabulous! Love all the color she pulls in!
I don't have a favorite designer. I love Echino prints - especially the one with airplanes. I am partial to airplanes.
Thanks for the giveaway.

Amy Butler, I think.
My favourite at the moment has to be Lottie Jansdotter Echo
My favourite designer is probably Michael Miller. Thanks for the giveaway!
Lurker for a while, but now a happy follower. I have to say that I'm not a huge fabric line or designer follower. Thanks for the giveaway!
Wow! What an awesome giveaway! I buy a lot of Michael Miller. I am loving Lotta Jansdotter right now.
I'm a follower. Not sure there's any particular designer I don't like. I love fabric!
I think my favourite designer might be Laura Gunn - I just love the over-sized florals and the beautiful painting. But then, maybe my favourite is Aneela Hooey and her whimsy. Or Joel Dewberry and his exquisite colour sense. Who can choose a favourite really?
(clumsy.chord(at)gmail.com)
Kaffe Fassett is my favorite fabric designer.
Saying whose fabric I don't like seems mean, so I am not going to, but I am not a fan of teeny all-over calico print type fabrics. Especially if it's complementary colors- it just tends to read as muddy.
I love Echino Prints...(plus anything cool I can find in a thrift shop)
I can't remember her name...but cherries and uber cuteness come to mind, and it makes me shudder. I don't even think you can get it anymore.
I love me some Alexander Henry, and I'd never say no to some Kaffe Fassett!
Michael Miller is my favorite designer (if I can only pick 1).

I think I can find a redeeming quality in any fabric line! Every pattern has something that can be used in some project!
christyd8@bellsouth.net
So what is the deal with Halloween fabric. I just don't get that. Although I do like fall colors, cats and witches. Huh?
I'm so fickle about color I can't even say I really have a favorite designer. It might also be that I'm banning myself from buying until I use some of my stash. :)
Flea Market Fancy doesn't tickle mine!
I'm a new follower!
Amy Butler is my all time favourite
Awesome prize! Thank you
violet_bg1(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk

Seriously gorgeous giveaway! I have two main loves, that got me into sewing in the first place - Lizzy House and MoMo. Thanks for sharing ;)
My fav is probably irrimiri on spoonflower. Gorgeous designs and it's just a bit different.
I am new to fabric arts, so my knowledge base is limited. My favorite fabric right now is Riley Blake's Tuxedo line.
Thanks,
Ashley
I can't say a designer that I don't like, but in general, I don't care for fabric made specifically for children. I'd rather use fabrics that will grow with the child.
Joel dewberry and heather ross are 2 of my favorite designers.
New follower of this fun blog! I love sheep!
I like Heather Bailey's prints. Thanks for the chance to win! ellen@myerly.net

I love Kona solids. Nothing fancy just the pureness of the colours
I like too many to name a favorite, but I do find that I see Jennifer Paganelli's name on the selvages of several favorite fabrics.
I'm a follower! Not a fan of some popular lines, but I'll keep that to myself. I'll say this instead; I don't know why folks in swaps are adamantly opposed to batiks.
I love Anna Maria Horner's designs. Very gypsy feel to me.
following. I don't really "get" DS, sorry.
I love Amy Butler.
Thanks for the chance,
Silke

I don't have a favourite fabric designer - basically whatever is in front of me at that moment. I don't really like dull reproduction fabrics though.
And now am a follower too. I don't have any Echino, and it sure beats reproduction fabrics.
I like Anna Maria Horner fabric, thank you!
There isn't one designer or fabric line that I don't like...
I do love Heather Ross. And of course Amy Butler.
I will just take my chance even though I don't have a favourite designer - I get all my fabric in yard sales, or from relatives or friends... I have yet to finsih my studies to go on earning some money.
I'm a follower. I am sort of over bird prints, so I would say I don't really like any lines that are based on bird prints.
I love Rosalie Quinlan designs :)
My favourite designer would be sweetwater!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Hard to say one I don't like, but if pushed id have to say Kaffe Fassett, just can't use his fabrics and I am a follower :)

Amy Butler!
I love Caleb Gray. Thank you for an awesome giveaway!
I follow you. I am not a fan of big birds or big swirly flowers.
Well, I'm one of those gals who just doesn't follow fabric designers or lines. I do love new fabric, don't get me wrong! But I'm trying to use second-hand sources whenever I can.
Heather Bailey is my favorite. She only edges out Amy Butler because we share a first name ;)
My favorite designer is Alexander Henry. Just love the Ghastlie's.
I'm a newbie to the sewing world, so I have a lot to learn about all of the designers and fabrics!
Oh there are a few I love but the classics like Amy Butler and Heather Bailey but I also LOVE Sandi Henderson.
Awesome giveaway! I donlt know much about the designers, but I like Michael Miller. Thanks for the chance.
I love Tina Givens even before I really knew it. I recently got into sewing/quilting so the crazy and wonderful fabric world was new to me. I was automatically drawn her fabric and have loved everyone.
I don't drink much haterade. Sure there are fabric lines that don't appeal to me, but to each their own. Every line should get some hoopla.
I tweeted the giveaway since I don't have a blog. Hope that's ok. Also I didnt want to sound all preachy in my previous post, it's just something like this happened before and fabric designers feelings were hurt.

I am an RSS follower. :) I really didn't understand Sherbet Pips. The designs were cute, but the colors just really bugged me.
Wow fantastic giveaway! I love the fact that spoonflower means people can design their own perfect fabric. Other than that I tend to go for colours/ designs that appeal more than actual designers. makeitgiveit(at)gmail(dot)com
amy butler is one of my tops!
Amy butler but i work with scraps and I aware my friends keep them for themselves hahaha
xo Steph
I don't really know any fabric designers, because I get almost all my fabric from upcycling from thrift stores/free piles. Nevertheless, these fabrics you have here are fabulous. *grin*
