Modern Irish Bee Blocks: August

While I was in a bee block kind of mood, I jumped into Geraldine's Modern Irish Bee blocks.  Geraldine was super nice and already had her white background fabric and her gorgeous scrappy prints pre-cut into triangles for us to make HSTs.  What bliss!

We were asked to make two HST blocks with the prints and whites in alternating, diagonal lines.  You can imagine how many different ways these could be combined to make a quilt top, so I am SO excited to see what Geraldine makes with our blocks.  You can see on her instagram feed (@sophiebelledesigns) that she's already playing with this design idea to make gorgeous things!

Anyway, I made these.  You'll have to believe me that the whites are white here.  Stinky late afternoon iPhone photos...

Ger, I hope you like them!  They are on the way to your home right now :)
