100th Fluffy Sheep Quilting Post

Giveaway is now closed.  Winners will be announced shortly.

Woo hoo!  Here we are 100 posts into Fluffy Sheep Quilting.  I really can not believe how quickly time has gone by.  I can not believe I have this much to say!

I never planned on becoming a blogger.  I was home one night, bored, not able to sleep.  At 2 AM, while blog surfing, suddenly my own blog seemed like a good idea.  I quickly hooked!  Maintaining Fluffy Sheep Quilting is motivation for me to create and your encouragement keeps me laughing and moving forward.

My first post was on the 4th of March entitled "Why not me too?", which was quickly followed by my first comment ever on post 2 by Sandy (of Quilting for the Rest of Us).  Oh my goodness!  Other people are actually reading this! What a rush.

At 100 posts later with about 11,430+ page views and 112 followers, this adventure has a life of its own.  The coolest thing, I think, is the international nature of the readers.  There are folks regularly reading FSQ from North America (both the US and Canada), Europe (Ireland, the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Sweden and Norway primarily), Australia, South America (Brazil), Asia (India, Israel, Hong Kong, Singapore) and Africa (South Africa).  With Antarctica, we would have all continents joining in.  Are there quilters in Antarctica?

Thank you all for reading, commenting, encouraging and teaching me.   This has been a fantastic experience for me; one that I hope continues to grow.

Will we celebrate this milestone in the traditional way?  GIVEAWAY!  I have 3 giveaway prizes that you can enter by leaving a comment.  Leave your name, your email (if you are a no-reply blogger) and the giveaway you would like to enter.  Please also share a link to a blog you highly recommend.  Not your own, but another that inspires you or makes you giggle.  It is nice for everyone to find a new source of inspiration. Followers get two entries (but need to recommend two blogs) as you are the regular commenters that always brighten my day!  This giveaway will close on Tuesday at 5PM GMT.  Good luck!

Giveaway 1:  A set of 4 fat quarters.
This are pretty, bright, happy fabrics that make my heart flutter.  I hope you like them too!

Giveaway 2: A set of 4 batik fat quarters.
Batiks are new for me and I am really enjoying them.  I would like to use them more in the next 6 months.

Giveaway 3: A set of 3 novels.
These mystery novels, by Clare O'Donohue, center around a group of quilting friends and their collaborative effort to solve local murders.  They are nice, light reading.

This post will be linked to Manic Monday at Sew Happy Geek and Sew Modern Monday at Canoe Ridge Creations as well as Fabric Tuesday at Quilt Story.  Use the buttons on the right of the blog to hop over there and see what's new!

Wow I assumed you'd been blogging for years! Well done on 100 posts. OK I read too many blogs and should spend more time sewing. I would recommend this site which is full of amazing inspiration for arts and crafts with children, your or someone elses http://madebyjoel.com/.
I challenged myself to come up with a non-sewing site but it does have sewing projects in there too. Happy browsing!

She has written a great series on the 'Art of Choosing' and often has gorgeous vintage sheets to show! I often head there when I'm stuck with fabric!
Oh and I'd love the set of fat quarters please!
