It's SMS Giveaway Day!  Giveaway Day has become a holiday in this house that holds a place in my personal calendar.  Is that weird?  It is just so much fun I would not want to miss out!

On offer here, for one lucky winner, is a fat quarter bundle from my shop: Fluffy Sheep Quilting.  Included is one FQ bundle of small 1/8th inch white dots on 9 different color backgrounds.  You can see the full line in the shop here.  I am so excited to have fresh, new, happy dots in our shelves in a wide variety of saturated, bright colors.  They are great for quilts, bindings, little projects like frame purses or even clothes for a little gal or guy.

Fluffy Sheep Quilting {The Shop} News

The shop was a-buzz last week with new fabric arriving, so I have not been sewing lately.  Seeing as we are all fabric enthusiasts, though, I thought I would show you what pretties have joined our fabric family. I can not stop petting them!

First up, Vintage Happy.

What's not to like in this fabric line?  There are flowers, little retro geometric prints, hangers, dress patterns, irons and leaves.  The colors are just delicious ranging from a tangerine orange to cherry red, from aqua to golden rod yellow.  Each of the prints below is available from the bolt in traditional FQ, half yard and yard cuts....

But then there's also a complimentary panel available that includes an additional four FQs.  The irons are simply irresistible.  I haven't listed bundles in the shop yet, but they will appear this week at some point.

Next, Rocket Age.

A little boy's dream combining stars, planets, teddy bears and robots.  With a retro twist, these prints bring back the wonder of a comic book's adverts (moon shoes!).  This line beautifully combines a nice denim blue, brick red and cream with splashes of orange and yellow.  Again, bundles will appear in the shop shortly.

Complimenting the fabric pretties, Love Patchwork & Quilting (the April issue) has also arrived!

I only have 3 or 4 copies of this left, so please do let me know via a comment below or an email if you want one sent your way.  Snatch one up quickly...they're flying off the shelf!  The projects in this issue are just wonderful.

And finally, we have a give away winner!  The lovely Miss Nicky has scooped up the 50 euro gift certificate to be spent on anything she'd like in the shop.  Congratulations, Nicky!  I thank you all for your support of Fluffy Sheep Quilting as the Best Retailer in Galway.  I am sorry to say that the shop did not take the win, but we gave the other contestants a good bit of competition.  A huge thank you to all who voted.

Celebratory Facebook Giveaway!

Much to my delight, I woke up on Sunday morning to find the Fluffy Sheep Quilting facebook page now has 1,000 likes!  Yippee!

I thank you all for your support of the shop, for your encouragement and for sharing the Fluffy Sheep news through the Facebook feed.  To celebrate each of you, I am offering a giveaway to Facebook followers.  If you hop over to the facebook page this morning, you will see that I have a pretty little bundle of Wishes fat quarters up for grabs.  It seems appropriate given this fabric line is all about celebration!

Giveaway Day! Giveaway Day!

Shop keeping....

Just a few small bits and bobs to tell you about...mostly fabric happiness from the shop.

First, we have a winner for the Minimalista giveaway.  The creative Rebecca (seriously...check out her blog!) will find this pretty bundle in her post box.

And finally, a Sunnyside shop update.  There are now two new Sunnyside prints available in the shop.  They were ordered, didn't arrive, were cancelled, then made a surprise appearance.  It's hard to keep up sometimes.  There will be a celebration of their arrival over on Instagram starting tomorrow (Tuesday), so be sure you're following me @fluffysheepquilting.  Don't miss out!

Minimalista Giveaway!

Last week was 100% focused on preparing for this past weekend's Food & Craft Gift Fair.  Thankfully my Minimalista order from Art Gallery Fabrics arrived just in time to be included on the FSQ shelves for all of Galway to see.  It was a smashing hit!

While I was preparing FQ bundles for the festival, I set one aside to giveaway to those of you who were not able to pop by.  I can't keep all of the fabric goodness to myself, can I?

Fugly Fabric Party

The world famous Fugly Fabric party has perfect timing for me this year, so I am delighted to join in.  I have just been messing around re-organizing my personal stash of FQs and precuts lately.  I pulled out a few that were right for me at one time, but I need to move on.  Would you maybe like them in your stash?  If so, just leave a comment below.  Tell me if you would like giveaway 1, 2, 3 or 4...or any combination of them.  For a second entry, follow me via any one of my social media outlets (listed below) and leave a comment telling me all about it.  Let's get on with the goodness, shall we?

Giveaway 1
A pile of three green FQs or rather larger scraps.  They are from the Stitched in Color line by Malka Dubrawsky for Moda.  I loved this line, but the greens just are not doing it for me any longer.  Might they float your boat?

Giveaway 2
What's left of a jelly roll of batiks.  I still love the colors in this jelly roll, but I never used them in one massive project together.  I have been snipping bits and ends off of strips that I dig for special projects.  Anyway, what I have to offer is about 1/2 a jelly roll of these fabrics:

I will warn you, though.  They've been washed once and they do bleed a bit and their edges are a bit stringy.  Just so you know.

Giveaway 3

Fabrics that never really did it for me.  These FQs were found in bundles, were given as gifts or appeared in the bottom of goodie bags.  I would just love it if anyone wanted to give them a good home. (Edited to add all 3 of these FQs come as one package and will be sent to the Giveaway 3 winner).

Giveaway 4

The "low volume" bundle.  These came to me as part of several larger low volume bundles, but they are either not low volume enough for me or I just do not dig the prints.  Either way, maybe they will find a happy home in your quilts.  They are each untouched (not even unfolded!!!) FQs.  (Edited to add that the 4 FQs come together in one giveaway prize.)

In the last 2012 Finish Along, hosted by Rhonda, I was lucky enough to win the give away from Clover and Violet including a bag pattern and a charm pack to use with the pattern.  It was PERFECT for me as my winning project was my Mouthy Stitches bag.  I love things that come full circle.
