They came flyin' through the letter box today! Yes! My Modern Irish Bee blocks! I was queen bee for September and I asked for a block that was laden with HSTs. I think many ladies were ready to boot me from the bee as soon as they saw my tester block, but thankfully they were too polite to actually toss me out.
I can not tell you how excited I am to see these blocks in person. Do you want to see them too? Here they are all lined up on my design wall...as best I can. I'm pretty sort, so it's hard to reach high and keep them aligned.
My many, many thanks to you Judith, Eva, Anneliese, Karen and Karen! They are absolutely gorgeous.

So great!! Good choice! (she says because she didn't have to do one!)
Don't they look stunning together like that? Lucky you!
That looks beautiful! The 'negative' stars are really striking.
They are indeed, the perfect antidote to a chilly grey October day.
Wonderful xxx

They look wonderful together! Lucky you!
Those are wonderful blocks! You are going to have a great quilt.
The blocks look brilliant and the teal background works so well with the warm star colours!
Cindy, I'm going to finish mine today, I'm so sorry I'm late! What a bad worker bee I am. Great to see them all lined up like that, just what I need to give me a kick up the ass :) x
Amazing I love it - so glad you went ahead with this! Such a clever girl! Though I think it would also be amazing with your original black!
