Using the Pink Penguin Lunch Bag tutorial, I made this little cutie :) I already have a lunch bag (with Hello Kitty on it to boot!), but this would be great as a little bag running to/from shops in town. I am totally excited to take it out and about.
The lining is made of the same peacock feather-ish fabric on the rim, but there is also a little cover to keep your secret goodies (cookies?) hidden.
I am already scaling this up in my mind to make a larger hand bag. For now, it makes me happy.

What a great bag! A larger version to take to sewing group would be marvellous - the cover would help keep the rain off!!
I scaled it up and it makes a great travel bag - i dont need to worry tgat anyone will get their sticky fingers on my passport / holiday money / camera etc. It just needs a few pockets, maybe one outside and a few inside or everything ends up at the bottom, and i never find my mobile phone!

Cindy, what a great job. Love it. Yes you need to make one a little bigger for everyday. I do agree with Benta about adding a pocket or two to the inside. That being said, I haven't done it. I'm now planning on one with the Ghastlies fabric, very excited about it.
